The many names of Lacey, my cat

For the last seven years or so, my family has had this cat, Lacey, and during that time my family and I have given her many nicknames. Some of them are normal, like 'honey' or 'kitty'; others are a little strange. Here's a few of them, in order of weirdness:

6. Fluffy-butt

My mom uses this nickname mostly. Pretty self-explanatory.

5. Squishy

This is what I usually call Lacey. I'm not exactly sure why I started calling the cat this, but I've recently decided that it is because of this quote from Finding Nemo:

Apparently Dory is creeping into my subconsious :P

4. The rat

This nickname was used by my dad a lot last year. He would especially call the cat this when she was lying down with her front paws curled up under her body. He thinks she looks like a rat when she does that. XD

I think another reason he started calling her this is because when he did my younger sisters would say, "She's not a rat!" and start cooing over her. It's rather funny when they do that.

3. Tron(y)

We're starting to get into the really weird ones! Lacey is mostly called this by my youngest sister. I have no idea why.

2. Peach(y)

My dad and younger sister (not youngest) came up with this one. A couple months ago, they were trying to think up a funny name for the cat. They only used the nickname for a week or two though. Whenever they do now, I always think about Princess Peach from Super Mario Bros. :)

1. Coonie-tripe

My younger sister has been calling Lacey for a long time. And I, again, have no idea why. I guess it will always be a mystery!

So yeah! We have given the cat some strange nicknames. Oh! And sorry for not doing a post in so long! It's been too long. LOTS of me procrastinating and then trying to catch up on school. But I'll try to get back in a schedule :)
